Mike Vacca, a beloved member of our Spe-Le-Yai passed away on Friday November 30, 2007. He was a Vigil honor member and a founder's award recipient. CLICK HERE for full article.
The Thunderbird Online Event Management System is now open for registration for conclave.

All plans are set to continue at Forest Lawn Scout Reservation. There was limited damage to the camp due to fires.

What a great time we all had at the 2007 W4A Conclave! The five lodges in our section had a great time competing, training and chanting at West Ranch High School in Stevenson Ranch last Saint Patrick’s Day Weekend. Read Entire Artticle.

The two conclaves after the upcoming conclave has switched host lodges, the 2008 Conclave will be hosted by Siwinis Lodge, and the 2009 Conclave will be hosted by Spe-Le-Yai Lodge. All the Section meetings leading up to each conclave will be at a location within the council of the lodge hosting that conclave. The Calendar and Conclave pages of this site has had the mentioned changes made to them.

The 2007 Conclave registration form is available now on the Conclave page, as well as pictures of the patches: a special 4" patch for early registration and a 3" patch for registering after.

The
Conclave
schedule  was recently
available to Section W4A's Yahoo! Group, and is now available on this
site. As of now, there are under 20 days until Conclave, so keep on
planning and preparing for what will be one of the greatest Conclaves.

sites, are working again.

The Section W4A Website now has a fully interactive
Conclave map (powered by Google
Maps), where you can zoom and pan the map (refresh the page if you
viewed the old map before and don't see the new one). There is also a
driving directions page powered by Google Local. Just type in your
address in the "Start address" field and click "Search",
and you will get step-by-step directions on the left, as well as a
highlighted driving path. Look forward to seeing this technology on
various parts of this website in the future.

The National Order of the Arrow website, as well as all websites under
the oa-bsa.org domain (where all National and Regions sites are located)
are currently experiencing technical difficulties.
NOAC Registration and the
Trading Post are the two
sites that are still working. If you see OA-related banners and links on
this and other sites that are not loading, this would be the reason.
